GIRLS' BASKETBALL

                                        Congratulations to the 2007-08 TVAA Girls Basketball Champions, the East Juniata Lady Tigers by defeating the second half champions, Midd-West Lady Mustangs, 49-44. The Lady Tigers finished the TVL with a 15-1 overall record.  The Lady Tigers scored an average of 60.56 points per game while allowing 41.44 points per game.  The Lady Tigers had 2 of the top 4 TVL scorers, Steph Yetter (14.75 pts./g) and Megan Shipe (14.25 pts/g).  Carly Inch led the league in 3 pt FG made with 38.  Allison Inch led the league in steals with 79.  Megan Shipe was named league MVP and Coach Travis Quici was named league Coach of the Year.
